INTERIOR DESIGN MANAGER
THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN BRYANSTON
Key Responsibilities to include:
To represent the organisation at project briefing meetings and to be able to produce an accurate specification of requirements from which the project team can commence work.
The ability to lead professional teams, internal teams, contractors and consultants.
Interprets Director briefs to be able to communicate design considerations effectively using visual, written; oral and Revit skills in the form of production documentation.
Has full involvement in projects from initiation to finalisation.
Attend sites to ensure that actual construction on site is working to plan; potential problems are proactively identified and rectified so that the project is not delayed and client expectations are met.
Uses appropriate methods and interpersonal styles to develop, motivate, and guide internal teams toward successful outcomes and attainment of business objectives.
Focus on local operations and is involved in business sub-committees that support business strategy
Manages and/or administers resources allocated for the project and/or department.
To allocate and plan areas within the premises that meets the specifications of the client requirements
Minimum Criteria and Requirements of Applicants:
At least 6-8 years Interior Design experience is required.
Relevant qualification (B. Arch Interior/B. Sc. Interior Arch/B. Tech Interior Arch/M. Interior Arch) required.
Proficient in the use of Revit is essential.
Knowledge of project management is essential.
Leadership skills – proven record of leading professional and internal teams required.
Knowledge of programs such as In Design, Photoshop and Sketch Up will be preferred.
A high standard of communication skills are required.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
