It is with great pleasure that I announce that the MEC for Human Settlements and Public Works in the Province of Kwazulu Natal, the Honourable Mr Ravi Pillay, will deliver the Keynote Address at our AGM on the 25th October 2016.
Mr Pillay has been one of the best performing MEC’s in the country, winning national delivery awards for number of housing units handed to the poor over the past few years.
Whilst as architects we have not been part of that process, NOW is the time to engage the MEC to get the Government to understand the value that we as architects can bring to this process and better provide Cities , Towns and Villages for our people. Do not miss this opportunity to place before a high ranking politician our concerns with regards to Public Works and Human Settlements but also to demonstrate our commitment to the National Spatial Revolution that we proposed at our We Design Conference.
