Bruce Clark presents Green Tuesdays, a series of 10 architectural sustainability modules covering the practical aspects of applying recent Building standards within the greater global context. Every week will have a new focus and cover one aspect of green design in extensive detail, including the global standards and issues, as well as local applications. The course is designed so that information gained will be a source for later research and reference.

Module 7. Green interiors, materials, air quality, materials ratings and electronic tools.

Module 8. Transport, food, water and strategies for measuring your carbon footprint. "If you can measure it you can manage it".

Module 10. Sydney Opera House and facilities management for the future.
*There will also be an extra addition to the course in the form of a visit by David Baggs, expert on sustainable materials in architecture, who will be presenting a lecture on the afternoon of Tuesday 27 March at the MBA. This is a seperate event and will be organised by EcoSpecifier and we will update you accordingly.*

Bruce Clark (Pr. Arch. MIA. A. Arb.), is an expert in the field of green building and green standards. He has spent a great deal of time working with both South African and Australian green building standards. He also sits on the SAIA National Practice Committee, and has been very involved in the recent redrafting of the SABS building standards.
Other speakers will take part on a range of topics from BIM (Building Information Modelling), Facilities management and technical aspects.

Starting Tuesday 21 February at KZNIA
Tuesdays from 4:30pm sharp - 5:30 pm. Each session will be 1 hour with approx 30 mins optional discussion time to follow.
